Chances are, though, that you won't be worrying about the money that you spend on a Las Vegas romantic getaway, though, and the reason for this is that there is hardly any time to do so. When you have the opportunity to take your sweetie on some of the most dangerous rides throughout Las Vegas and then swoon her with chocolates and a serenade on the river, just who is going to put a price tag on the romantic experiences that can be shared?

Nevertheless, though, if you are looking for rock solid romantic getaways in Las Vegas there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy not only the packages that are available at the many hotels, but the royal treatment that you'll receive when staying at any number of these establishments. Here are some experiences to keep reminding you of your special bride or groom throughout the time you both are visiting Las Vegas together:

The Venetian Hotel Romantic Getaway

Specifically-designed romantic packages to help the honeymoon couple decide what to do with their time, the Venetian Hotel provides a lot of resources for virtually all the romance that you could ever want. For example the huge honeymoon suites are certain to have large, grand, marble whirlpool spas in them so that the couple can enjoy their first night as a married couple together. In addition, room service is always available for the couple that don't want to worry about going down to get their food. Whatever your choice for romantic packages at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, there are definitely reasonable rates to consider.

The prices that one will pay for the romance and romantic getaway packages are extremely affordable, which is another reason that the Venetian Hotel not only has over 4,000 rooms available, but they are also home to the many honeymoon couples that choose to go to Las Vegas for their romantic getaway!

Paris Las Vegas

Even though this hotel doesn't have quite as many rooms as the other Las Vegas hotel that was named above, the entertainment and romance remains unmatched. There are plenty of romantic activities while visiting the Paris Las Vegas, including being entertained at the Le Cabaret Show Lounge, as well as the ability to go to jazz and other entertainment shows and dance scenes as well!

These are just two of the romantic getaways that are available in the Wide World of Las Vegas, though. Other important hotels include the Bellagio and the Mirage, just to name a couple. There's no doubt, though, that the romantic couple will have trouble finding any sort of romantic activity to do while visiting Las Vegas!

Gambling Las Vegas

Gambling Las Vegas - What's So Great About Gambling in Las Vegas ?

There are many reasons that gambling in Las Vegas is the ultimate vacation, and there are literally millions of people who come to these places each year to find out why Las Vegas is so great. On the other hand, there are also lots of people who come to Las Vegas in an attempt to scam the whole city, however, not many of these professional scam artists are regularly allowed through the doors of any major hotels, resorts, or casinos.

But there are plenty of aspects that people love about the gambling that goes on behind closed doors in the Las Vegas casinos and here are some of the better reasons :

Las Vegas Is Totally Safe

Many of the world-famous hotels and resorts, along with the casinos in Las Vegas, are real big crime-preventionist owners and individuals. There are many thousands of hidden and secret cameras that are able to catch even the most sleight of hand cheating or foul play that goes on within casinos. Furthermore, as soon as one customer of the casinos look threatening then the authorities and security personnel within that Las Vegas casino are usually on that person like moths that are attracted to a flame.

In addition to the security cameras that are hidden all over the buildings, though, it is also very easy for casino authorities and owners to pull your history with local, state, and federal authorities. In fact, the moment you walk through any of the Las Vegas casino doors you are looked at as a perpetrator until your innocence can be proven!

So Many Opportunities

Another thing that is awesome about the Las Vegas casinos is that there are so many opportunities to gamble and participate in the games throughout all of Las Vegas that one will even forget that he or she is on a vacation! If you have ever wanted to take part in a Las Vegas vacation then what you should know is that there are plenty of opportunities with the casino to strike it rich, or at least have the illusion that you could strike it rich. Slot machines are just waiting for you to pull the handle and the Blackjack tables are yearning for your bet. Whether you want to play professional poker or stick to the games that you know, there are plenty of opportunities throughout all of the Las Vegas casinos.

It's Totally Free!

Other than the fact that you'll have to actually bet to be able to win any money in any of the Las Vegas casinos, the fact that the gambling and casinos are free to take part in is literally astounding and great for so many people. After all, a lot of the things, attractions, and shows around Las Vegas do require upfront money in order to be admitted, but there is hardly any entrance fees at Las Vegas casinos!

All of these are some of the many reasons why Las Vegas is one of the greatest places in America. Not only are there plenty of opportunities for casino gambling behind the hotel and casino walls, but the added security of the world-class hotels and casinos just makes the experience all the more worthwhile!

Vegas Tours

Vegas Tours - An Inside Look at the Las Vegas Strip

There are millions of people who plan trips in the Las Vegas city each and every year. When those trips are taken it is safe to say that many of them will be staying on the Las Vegas Strip. Not only are there plenty of hotels and landmarks around the area, but there is also plenty to do. Even though tourists are limited to the Las Vegas Strip when visiting the area, more than 50% of the time their time is fully spent within The Strip inside hotels and casinos, shopping centers, as well as other attractions that are important as well. If you have time to visit the Las Vegas Strip in your lifetime, though, here is an inside look of how what all The Strip contains, as well as what it used to hold.

Early Times

Early in the history of the Las Vegas Strip there wasn't much activity going around the area. The first casino to be built, however, was the Pair-o-Dice Club that was built in 1931. This is when most of the activity to the area of the Las Vegas Strip really began, however, it didn't pick up with the millions of tourists as it is today until there were other casinos, clubs, and hotels built in the area. Nevertheless, Pair-o-Dice Club will always be remembered as the first official casino club on The Strip in Las Vegas.

In addition, though, all the attractions on the Las Vegas Strip remain on a 4-mile section of Las Vegas City, which is part of the Las Vegas Boulevard South section. Up and down the entire Strip there are shopping attractions, hotels that are famous, as well as restaurants and plenty of other entertainment opportunities.

A couple of the interesting hotels that are encountered along the walking routes of the Las Vegas Strip include the Circus Circus hotel as well as the Treasure Island Resort. Both of these hotels are so-named because of the resorts that they aim to have. For example, Treasure Island was meant to attract large groups of families visiting Las Vegas, and the Circus Circus hotel is a 3,000 plus building that has plenty of circus themes running throughout the whole hotel. Aside from these accommodations, though, there are plenty of other hotels that are meant to throw fun at tourists visiting Las Vegas and The Strip!

Huge Shopping Attractions

Another great thing about the Las Vegas Strip is that there is plenty of shopping to do. A few examples of the places that one is able to visit if he or she wants to do some shopping are The Bonanza Gift Store, the Fashion Show Mall, as well as the Grand Canal Shoppes. In fact, the Bonanza Gift Store attracts millions of customers each year because it is the world's largest gift store that contains everything from pop culture to candy bars!

As you can see, the Las Vegas Strip definitely has a lot going for it and all the attractions on The Strip certainly contribute to reasons why millions of tourists come here every year!

Las Vegas Food

Las Vegas Food - Treating Yourself Right in Las Vegas : Eateries

When visiting any major city or tourist attraction many of the times tourists are concerned with finding the best restaurants and eateries in the entire city. Just as the Tavern On the Green is the most famous upscale restaurant in New York City that is also located in Central Park, there are also upscale restaurants that are located in Las Vegas that attract some of the same people. If you are looking for places to eat in Las Vegas then one should look no further than the very hotels and resorts that they are able to stay in.

For example, the Bellagio hotel has a whole menagerie of restaurants that seem to invoke a good feeling a pleasure and taste. This is just one of the hotels, though, but the point of it all is that one should treat him or herself right when touring all of Las Vegas. It certainly isn't necessary to eat at inexpensive restaurants throughout the city when the best of the best foods can be purchased at many different hotels throughout Las Vegas.

The Bellagio Menagerie

As mentioned, the Bellagio Hotel is the one hotel that literally has a menagerie of restaurants available to eat in. In addition, some of the world-class chefs not only learn to cook at these restaurants, but there are also very important people and tourists that eat here as well! Here are some of the more interesting restaurants throughout the Bellagio that are also well-known for the foods that are served :

Prime - This is the restaurant that one has to go to if they are looking for the ultimate steakhouse in all of Las Vegas. In fact, many people go to Las Vegas simply to experience the food of the Prime restaurant. However, the steak that can be experienced at Prime is also some of the most expensive. But what else can you expect at a world-class hotel?

Jasmine - Just as though Prime is the best steakhouse restaurant in all of Las Vegas and it is in the Bellagio Hotel, so too Jasmine is the best and ultimate restaurant to go to if you want a taste of the best Asian food in Las Vegas!

Sensi - Who would have that that Asian food and Italian would go together? Certainly the owners and creators of the Sensi restaurant thought that Asian and Italian blends would be what some people love and it turns out that this is one of the most popular restaurants to go to that is also located in the Bellagio Hotel on the Spa floor level.

Another restaurant that doesn't have anything to do with the Bellagio in Las Vegas is the place to eat at if you are looking for the best crab and seafood in Las Vegas. A restaurant called The Palm located in Caesar's mill is absolutely scrumptious when it comes to serving some of the most fresh and best crab throughout the world!

Certainly there are other places, too, that are known for the excellent cuisines that they serve in Las Vegas. A couple of the restaurant scenes that haven't been mentioned here include the Bouchon, Rosemary's as well as Shintaro. All of these places are known for the food they serve, and there is nothing better to do than treat yourself right when visiting Las Vegas and the many eateries available!

Security in Las Vegas

Security in Las Vegas - Is Las Vegas a Breeding Ground for Terrorists ?

Even though there are many people who insist that the Mexican and Canadian borders are too open of places in order to allow terrorists to come into the United States, but what about the people and terrorists that are already living in the United States? Indeed, you can be assured that there are Islamic terrorists that have already entered the United States.

Some people contend that Las Vegas is the perfect place for these criminals to hide out, but others suggest that Las Vegas is simply too busy of a place to attract any sort of terrorist activity whatsoever. Nevertheless, it is always possible that terrorists are living and breathing among us, and here are just some of the reasons that many people believe that Las Vegas is a breeding ground for terrorists:

The Perfect Place to Hide

Even though Las Vegas, just like New York City, seems like it would be the exact opposite of a place for terrorists to hide it is actually the very opposite and there are plenty of would-be terrorists that are already hiding out in New York City. Because of this, though, why wouldn't Las Vegas be the perfect place to hide? There are literally millions of people gambling and filling up spots in the casinos that terrorists would absolutely have no clue that they were being watched.

In addition, the feeling that many people get when going to Las Vegas casinos is the fact that they feel like one small fish in the sea. Because of these feelings and comforts also, there are many people who feel that Las Vegas would be the perfect place to hide a cell of inter-connected terrorist groups planning to attack on the United States' soil.

What No One Knows

Just as there are millions of people who attend the Las Vegas casinos each and every day, there are also so many of these people that just have no idea how security works in Las Vegas. According to the United States' Department of Homeland Security, there are plenty of ways in which they can keep an eye on whoever has checked into the hotel and whoever is currently playing on the Craps table. Aside from common information that can be obtained, many of the authority figures of the federal government are now relying on high tech information in order to able not only recognize people's faces, but to also recognize facial expressions that may be codes and signs for other meanings.

As mentioned, there are plenty of federal authorities already keeping an eye on the many people who participate in the Las Vegas casinos. There are also plenty of these federal authorities that believe that Las Vegas could truly be a breeding ground for terrorists. On the other hand, with all the security measures in place they have failed to capture anyone of real significance who has big ties to any of the terrorist networks.

All in all, though, it may be possible that those who are engaging in terrorist activities are staying among the common folks and wealthy people of the Las Vegas culture. However, it is very doubtful that many of these so-called terrorist will get away with any of their activities if security is as tight as it is made out to be. In the end, though, it seems as thought it only appears to be one big hoax and worry for nothing because Las Vegas is certainly protected and can guard itself against terrorists that try to attack!

Las Vegas Packages

Las Vegas Packages - Why Las Vegas is Better than New York City

There is literally a laundry list of reasons that one should refer to when talking about why Las Vegas is so much better than New York City, but the fact of the matter remains that Las Vegas has plenty of opportunities that New York City simply doesn't. For starters, there is very little gambling that takes place within New York City compared to Las Vegas, so naturally the opportunities that one has to win are so much greater in Las Vegas!

In addition, the whole set up of Las Vegas is so much better than when compared with the Broadway of New York City. Broadway may have a few upscale hotels and famous shows on the area, but the Las Vegas Strip has many more world-renowned hotels, casinos, along with many more shows that people are able to attend.

Here are some more reasons, though, that Las Vegas is better than New York City:

More Attractions and Better Transportation

Even though there are plenty of attractions within Manhattan and New York City, more often than not it usually takes a very long cab ride to get around, or at least it takes someone who is skilled in the travels of New York City. On the other hand, there are literally hundreds of attractions, shows, rides, and shopping malls within walking distance if you are spending the day on the Las Vegas Strip.

In addition, cab rides and public transportation do not cost an arm and a leg like they do in New York City. A simple bus fare only costs $5 per day in the Las Vegas Strip, while a cabbie in New York City and Manhattan may cost upwards of $15 just for a one-way ride!

Better Hotels and Restaurants

It is an undisputable fact that there are plenty of professional and upscale restaurants located throughout the heart of Manhattan. However, there are plenty more places throughout all of Las Vegas that contain the best of the best world-class restaurants one could ever eat in. For example, a few of the upscale restaurants located in the world-renowned Bellagio Hotel and Casino, as well as other places throughout Las Vegas, are the Prime, Shintaro, Rosemary's (started by Emeril Lagasse), as well as Sensi and Jasmine.

The hotels are another matter to debate, though. Even though New York City may have places like The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Las Vegas has plenty of other resorts and hotels that are not only geared toward everyone visiting Las Vegas, but also contain many themes as well. A couple of the better-themed hotels in the Las Vegas Strip include the Circus Circus, as well as the Treasure Island Resort!

As you can see, then, there is plenty more to be thankful for when one visits Las Vegas than New York City. But on the erring side and benefit of New York City, the whole area of Manhattan is quite a different place than Las Vegas. Nevertheless, though, Las Vegas contains some of the most famous hotels, casinos, and shows throughout the whole world!

Vegas Trip

Vegas Trip - Ways of Getting Around Las Vegas

Just as many people say that it's very easy to live in New York City and not have to worry about owning a car, the same goes for Las Vegas. There are many people who actually live and work all on the Las Vegas Strip and it is very possible to do that with much success. There is plenty of free and cheap transportation that one is able to take advantage of, so not owning an automobile during this very busy Las Vegas Strip is not the worst thing in the world.

However if you are a tourist then you may be wondering at how just you are going to get around in the car that you drove. However, the best thing to do would be to leave your car in the parking garage and take advantage of some of the other Las Vegas rides that are readily available for everyone living, touring, and roaming the streets of Las Vegas

The Citizens Area Transit
The CAT Bus, as it is more commonly known throughout Las Vegas, provides transportation to many places around the Las Vegas Strip. These CAT buses, though, are also known as the deuce and they stop at all the major destination and resort points on the Las Vegas Strip. Even though the fares for the Deuce are not very expensive, the service that you get for being able to ride up and down the Las Vegas Strip is pretty worth that $5 that you pay for a 24-hour service.
Tourist Trolley
Another way that you can get up and down the Las Vegas Strip is by using a tourist trolley that is available. Just as the CAT bus service, though, the trolley also has the same fare to get around the town. Unfortunately, though, this method for riding through the streets of the Las Vegas Strip is usually pretty full so it's probably best to use other methods of transportation.
Trams
This is actually the free version of transportation that tourists and citizens are able to take advantage of throughout the Las Vegas Strip, but the locations and routes that these free cable-pulled trams go to are pretty limited. For example, one popular route that it currently takes is the stop between the Treasure Island Resort and the Mirage, but this is one of five or six destinations that the Tram does stop at.
Shuttles
However, there are plenty of other free shuttles that one can take in between other major destinations and hotel hotspots throughout the Las Vegas Strip. For example, some of the shuttles go between Caesar's Palace and the Rio, while another one goes from the Hard Rock Hotel to Caesar's Palace.
All of these options are great ways to find yourself getting around through the Las Vegas Strip. Even though public transportation is not expensive at all, they are very economically and environmentally healthy ways to find attractions and destinations around the city instead of relying on walking or other more difficult methods.

Vacation Las Vegas - Planning a Las Vegas Vacation

However, after many people finally arrive to the great Las Vegas city they oftentimes find that there are millions of more things that can be done around Las Vegas. When thinking about your trip to Las Vegas one of the words that probably came to mind was "adventure." However, you can also experience a real adventure by going to the Adventuredome in the Las Vegas Strip. Not many people realize that this attraction is in Las Vegas until they actually arrive, but the Adventuredome is made to attract all sorts of people even though families, kids, and teenagers are the ones who you'll see hanging out here the most. However, there is a lot to do within this 5-acre building. Whether you want to ride on the many rides that are available or play games throughout the Midway Game portion of Adventuredome, the possibilities are literally endless.

Some of the interesting rides and attractions that are located inside the Adventuredome in Las Vegas include the Canyon Blaster Roller Coaster, the Xtreme Zone, plenty of clown shows, as well as plenty of arcade games to choose from. There is also a putt-putt golf course, as well as a rock climbing wall for all to enjoy!

The Fashion Show Mall

If you thought that your trip to the mall ended with your local mini-mall then you may just want to check again. In Las Vegas, the awesome Fashion Show mall has plenty of opportunities to shop at the over-200 stores and restaurants available. This mall is so named, though, because the many fashion shows that take place here are usually regular occurrences. Some of the major stores that sit in the Fashion Show Mall include Bloomingdales, Dillard's, Macy's, Abercrombie and Fitch, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Ann Taylor, as well as a whole host of other ones that are just too numerous to name!

The M&M World

This is a really interesting and creative Las Vegas store, but the M&M World incorporates everything M&M related into their store, and actually contains two huge floors that are fully devoted to the chocolate candies that many people in America love!

All in all, it is really possible to easily find something that one can enjoy while planning a vacation to Las Vegas. These are some of the more interesting attractions that are still equally as popular as the many casinos in Las Vegas. All of these attractions, though, offer the excitement of a lifetime for any and all who choose to come!

Amazing LED Displays

There are plenty of LED displays for those visiting Las Vegas. In fact, the lights display that are always on is actually called a "canopy" of lights. But considering how many LED lights are used for this Las Vegas attraction, the main part of the Fremont Street Experience, should shed light on the fact how much work this all took. In addition, the canopy is also capable or producing more than a half-million watts of amazing sound!

Pedestrian Grand Mall

The whole pedestrian mall is filled with beautiful music at all times in this great Las Vegas area. In fact, the light and sound shows usually go on regularly on the Las Vegas Fremont Street Experience and there are plenty of songs and lights that the city of Las Vegas uses in order to attract, entice, and satisfy their visitors and tourists.

Some of the more interesting songs that are played to light shows include "American Freedom," "Lucky Vegas," "Area 51," as well as "The Drop." Many people will tell you that they have an incredible time watching the light and sound shows available on the malls and they are usually too good for anyone to pass up the opportunity to enjoy the true Las Vegas city!

Las Vegas Life

Las Vegas Life - Las Vegas : The Real City that Never Sleeps

There are many people that consider New York City to be the "City that Never Sleeps," however is it possible that there are two cities that are exactly alike within America? If you have never been to the Las Vegas strip or to any one of the casinos and hotels that Las Vegas is home to, then you may be totally unaware of all the interesting activities that goes on throughout the night. Even though illegal prostitution and exchanges for sex, and underground human trafficking are some of the images that comes to one's mind whenever one thinks about the activity on the streets of Las Vegas, there is actually a whole different and better world than what those images seem to stir up.

For example, did you know that there is an important museum located right on the Las Vegas Strip? There are actually plenty of good and wholesome activities that one can enjoy while visiting Las Vegas and these experiences can be enjoyed the whole night long, which is the main reason that many people choose to call Las Vegas the other "City that Never Sleeps."

If you are truly looking for some fun in the Las Vegas hotels then chances are that you've already heard about the many casinos within the walls of the hotels in Las Vegas that there are to take advantage of.
Indeed, if you are staying at The Bellagio Hotel, MGM Grand, or the Mirage Hotel, these are just a few of the places that offer fantastic opportunities to experience gambling, casinos, and everything else that many people choose to come to Las Vegas for. The casinos are just only a few footsteps away when making reservations at one of the hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, which is also another good reason for choosing to bunk there.

Another great thing about the City that Never Sleeps is the fact that Las Vegas is home to plenty of night clubs and bars that one can go to in order to enjoy some of the night life around Las Vegas. Whether you want to dance the night away with your partner or you're looking for someone to help you enjoy the true experience of Las Vegas throughout the time of your stay, there are also plenty of opportunities to meet new friends and people within the jazz and night clubs on the Las Vegas strip and heart of the city as well.

With twenty-four hour restaurants, all the night clubs and neon signs that you could imagine, one would think that the whole city of Las Vegas is either like an all-night party or simply a city that doesn't have any need for real night-time. Indeed, there is no real need to sleep while visiting Las Vegas, because chances are that you won't be able to enjoy a good night's rest with all the rest of the activity that regularly goes on inside and outside some of the most world-famous hotel walls.

But if you are looking for some of the best attractions to visit in Las Vegas then chances are that you've come to the heart of the city of Las Vegas to experience two things: the ultimate Las Vegas vacation along with all the casinos that come with it. Indeed, there's plenty to do while visiting the other city that never sleeps and all one has to do is take a few steps in one direction to realize it!

Las Vegas Security

Las Vegas Security - They're Watching You in Las Vegas

Have you ever thought about going to Las Vegas to experience one of the many world-famous hotels and casinos on the Las Vegas Strip? If you have then chances are that you've been over just which casinos to go to and what hotels to stay at and see. However, an important issue that many people might not realize on their stay is that there are plenty of people watching you while visiting Las Vegas. Whether you are good news or bad news, the authorities in Las Vegas, the federal authorities in Washington, DC, as well as the Las Vegas casino and hotel owners all have their eyes on every little thing that you do.

There are many people who simply disbelieve the fact that cops and federal authorities are able to keep tabs on every single person within the Las Vegas hotel. After all, many people just see themselves as blending in with the crowd. However, this is not how the federal authorities in Washington and others who own the casinos and hotels see you. Here are just some of the thoughts that are running through their head, as well as how they are able to keep so close of tabs on each individual person throughout the hotels and casinos in Las Vegas:

Are you a Good Guy or Bad Guy?

This first question is the very important real question that local and federal authorities have to answer about you to tell whether or not you pose a threat while taking a vacation or living in Las Vegas. In order to get the most basic of information, though, there are thousands of hidden and real cameras within the hotels and casinos of the Las Vegas Strip. These thousands of hidden cameras all point towards every person playing within the casino walls and there are hundreds of casino and hotel employees that will do anything just to be able to find the one suspect among the hundreds of thousands of individuals within the crowd.

However, one way in which the Las Vegas casinos and hotels are able to match the faces of everyone in the casino is by the face-recognition software that these highly-intelligible security cameras contain. Face-recognition software and cameras are able to send and share information instantly and directly with other cameras in other Las Vegas hotels and it's just a matter of time before they know your real name!

Another way that Las Vegas casino and hotel owners tend to use the information they gain about you is to give you the ultimate Las Vegas experience. In other words, they are able to tailor your casino experience just the way that they like it. For example, some of the tracking software that Las Vegas casinos use is employed to track your every move, including the bets that you make, wagers that you roll, as well as a keeping a tally of all the money that you spent.

There is very little information that is not known about you, however, and casino owners can also use that. For example, if you happen to be at a Las Vegas hotel on your birthday then you just might get a special promotion or end up winning the jackpot on the slot machine, too!

All things considered, though, Las Vegas casinos and hotels are much better off in the way of security than they were just fifteen years prior. Even though it can be scary to be spotted and well-known in Las Vegas hotels, it's also better to say that there is enough security to go around!

Las Vegas Casinos

Las Vegas Casinos - Interesting Non-existent Las Vegas Casinos

Throughout the history of Las Vegas there has always been spectacular events, fabulous light and sound shows, interesting casino and hotels throughout the whole city that has attracted billions of people to the area since the early 1930s. Indeed, Las Vegas is a city for tourists and there are many things to do when visiting the city.

However, if you love to find out small little facts about places throughout America, here is your chance to hear some of the Las Vegas casinos that were originally planned, but for some reason or another the plans to build them were abandoned. Here is a close up look at some of the more interesting plans for abandoned hotels and casinos:

The Titanic Resort and Casino

Originally, there was a resort and casino that was planned for Las Vegas that was to be named the Titanic after the sinking ship in 1912. Unfortunately, the plans for this hotel did not even begin construction before the idea for it was abandoned. However, the whole hotel was going to be in the shape of the Titanic and there would have even been a large iceberg at the foot of the hotel that would have housed the casino along with a bunch of other shops.

The World Trade Center Hotel

The idea for this type of a hotel began its formation back in 1997, however, the plans were abandoned when the gaming and casino license was turned down. The reason for the turning down of the application: two of the people involved closely with the beginning and building of the hotel were convicted felons.

Naturally, Las Vegas did not want its reputation to be ruined by this however seemingly-innocent hotel, so it decided to bar the license. Perhaps more interesting, though, is the fact that the original founder for the World Trade Center Hotel committed suicide soon after his plans fell through.

Countryland USA Resort and Casino

You guessed it! The Countryland USA Resort was originally meant to be a country-music style resort that would be great for all those that didn't want to hear other kinds of music. Las Vegas does not have the pleasure of hosting this casino, though, because the plans were abandoned before they could get underway.

Addams Family Hotel

This was only a concept hotel in the first stages of its life, but the main purpose of it was to have a family hotel for those visiting the Las Vegas Strip. It would have been a popular ideas if plans hadn't fallen through, though.

There are plenty of other ideas for hotels and resorts that were also abandoned by the various founders for the ideas. Some of the plans for hotels and resorts just seem to have been dropped in mid-air, whereas others truly had legitimate reason not to begin construction. Some of the ideas for these Las Vegas hotels were really interesting ideas, but it seems as though patrons will have to do without for now!

Vegas Deals

Vegas Deals - Living in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving

Whether you are in Las Vegas to stay or you've chosen to spend Thanksgiving Day while celebrating across the casinos that are available in the hotels and accommodations that you've made, there is plenty to do and have while in Las Vegas on Thanksgiving. Even though many people think that spending a major holiday at some place like Las Vegas would not only be frustrating but lonely, thousands of people do it every year and have lots of fun besides.

Whatever your circumstance, though, if you need to be in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving there are always going to be places to stay. But the Thanksgiving meal is what many more people are concerned about, and if you are too then here are some suggestions for the turkey and dressing that you've always had on Thanksgiving:

Inside Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel - Al Penazzi

Turkey is not the food that's left out in this meal, but many people consider this to be the best of the best when it comes to the Thanksgiving Dinner that they've always dreamed of in Las Vegas. But not only is Al Penazzi's Thanksgiving Dinner expensive at around $35 per dinner per each individual, the food that comes along with it is well worth the price.

For starters, the oven-roasted turkey that's brushed with their sweet and succulent recipe is something to be desired. Along with the sweet turkey experience, though, sweet potatoes are offered, along with the chance to indulge yourself with sweet cream, gingerbread cake, as well as fabulous soup. This meal is not just expensive because of the amount of food that you'll get, though; the luxury of the food itself is much to be desired.

Caesar's Palace

What's the big deal about staying in Las Vegas if new experiences at famous hotels are not going to be had. Nevertheless, at Caesar’s Palace the Mesa Grill is the restaurant to go to and the Thanksgiving Day meal is just as expensive here as it is at Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel. Nevertheless, though, the meal is totally different and there is a whole new set of tastes to go along with Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill.

For example, the roasted pumpkin soup should get you into that holiday and Thanksgiving Day spirit, but there's always the opportunity to fill your plate with fried pork as well as roasted Granny Smith apples.

These are just some of the very important places to spend your Thanksgiving Day in Las Vegas, though. A couple of the more interesting hotels that will allow you the experience and meal of a lifetime include the Sourdough Cafe that's located in Arizona Charlie's Decatur, as well as the El Dorado Casino that offers a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal with turkey and all the trimmings, as well as the Carmel Room in the Marriott Hotel.

All things considered, it's important to have some of the same food that you would normally eat on the Thanksgiving holiday, but this time you can do it in style while visiting Las Vegas and many of the other things that go along with it!
