Visiting the Zoo

What better fun is there to have than a nice day and walk in the park? Even though it seems as if the Las Vegas Southern Nevada Zoo may be the tamest of all things in Las Vegas to do, it is actually quite the opposite. Not only are families able to go here and have fun, but they are also able to experience the wild in its natural habitat.

Whether you're an adult or a child, though, there is plenty of fun to be had in experiencing the large exotic reptiles, the tigers, the lions, flamingos, as well as talking parrots, wallabies, and plenty of other creatures that are just waiting in the Las Vegas Zoo for you. Many families who visit Las Vegas tend to visit and stay at The Stratosphere hotel where they can be assured that they'll be able to have experiences of a lifetime.

First, the ride called Insanity will have you jumping from your skin in no time. Insanity will actually thrust you out into the open Las Vegas strip where you'll be able to see everything from a clear view of over 900-feet high. Even though it's basically a mechanical arm that will give you the ride of your life, it is definitely an experience to try. If you're not up for Insanity, though, the Big Shot and X-Scream are always available. These are two other of the most famous rides in The Stratosphere and they'll also provide you the same excitement as Insanity!

Gondola Experiences

What's the point of staying and taking a vacation in Las Vegas if you're not going to experience any of the true "cultures" that Las Vegas has living among them? Just like a true Venice, Italy experience, gondolas are available to take your family on a ride under bridges and through the river. This is definitely an experience that the family should have.

Casino in Las Vegas

Casino in Las Vegas - Popular Las Vegas Casino Games

There are plenty of casinos to take advantage of when visiting Las Vegas and all one has to do is step inside the world-class hotel that they'll be staying at in order to have a sneak peak at all the fun and games that do go on. Amidst all the gambling tables, though, there are some important things to remember about the casinos within Las Vegas.

First and foremost, if you don't know your way around the casinos then chances are that you were doomed to failure from the beginning. It cannot be stressed enough that the poker scene must be familiar to even attempt at winning a hand a Blackjack or some of the other games you want to play. If you have never played any of the Las Vegas games before but are about to step into the potential winner's or loser's circle at the casinos in Las Vegas, here are some important rules of the road to remember when dealing with casino games in Las Vegas:

Let Them Track your Play

Virtually all the casinos in Las Vegas territory usually track the plays and the bets that you make at all the games within the casino. One popular casino that just recently opened, too, which is the Wynn Las Vegas Casino, actually enforces the rule of making you hand your room key over to the casino game operator so that he or she can keep track of the bets and amounts of money that you've spent at the hotel. Even though most other casinos don't make you use your room key in order to track your play in the casino, it is still a practiced that is usually done. One major benefit for the customer, though, is that the price of their room and food may be taken care of at the end if they have spent enough in the casino.

Baccarat Room

Many people don't realize that there are other games in this room than simply Baccarat, but other types of games that are located in this room of a Las Vegas casino are typically Blackjack and Roulette. There are also a couple other forms of the Blackjack, too. In recent years, many casinos have replaced the dealers with automatic Blackjack shufflers, which takes some of the fun out of the game, but nevertheless the game is there for everyone's enjoyment!

Table Games

Besides the Baccarat room, though, normal simple table games, along with the slot machines, are usually the types of games that are found in the big and open areas within the Las Vegas casinos when you enter them. Some of the regular table games include Craps, Big 6, Caribbean Stud, as well as Let it Ride and Three Card Poker.

All in all, these are some of the most important things to remember when gambling in a Las Vegas casino. Letting the hotel or resort keep track of your earnings, winnings, and spends are important, but knowing what all there is to play is equally important.

For example, the Bellagio hotel is just one of the accommodations that anyone can choose that will have virtually everyone begging for more casinos. Online Las Vegas Casinos Versus the Real Thing

There are many people who go to Las Vegas every year in an attempt to not only smart out the many slot machines and poker tables that there are in many of the Las Vegas hotels and casinos, but there are also some people who claim that they can have the real experience right in front of their very own computers. For these people, though, online Las Vegas casinos are just the same thrill as actually being in one of the Las Vegas world-famous casinos and hotels. However, there are some main differences between the real thing when it comes to experiencing Las Vegas while visiting the area and actually experiencing one of the many Las Vegas casinos on the World Wide Web

Las Vegas - The Real Thing

A lot of the reason that millions of people flock to the ultimate gambling and casino city of the world is because of the experience that one gets by actually stepping into the front lobby of one of the many hotels and casinos that Las Vegas has. Let's face it: there are plenty of young adults who travel to Las Vegas each year just for their 21st birthday. If the experience were the same by sitting at home in front of a computer then you can bet that a lot more people would be interested in that idea. However, when one is actually sitting inside a Las Vegas hotel, he or she is able to readily see all the sights that he or she has dreamed off, feel the whole experience by taking it all in, smell the smells of what it is to be inside a casino, as well as physically touch the poker tables and hear all the hustling and bustling of the Las Vegas experience. The whole five senses come alive when stepping into a Las Vegas casino, and this is perhaps what many people most love about their experience in this great city!

Online Las Vegas Casinos

On the flip side of the token, though, there are also individuals who claim that they can have the very real experience of all the things described above by playing and gambling in one of the many Las Vegas casino games that can be found online. However, this is also something totally different, and perhaps the reason that many people love this online experience so much is because it appeals to their greed as much as it does to their senses that they actually feel like they're in the Las Vegas casinos. However, one is very limited in the experiences that he or she is able to experience when playing online casinos. Not only are the experiences totally false, but there is a false sense of hope also!

All in all, when one thinks and dreams about spending their time in a Las Vegas casino there are many facets and angles to that dream that they usually want to experience. First of all, since the main difference between the real thing and the online Las Vegas casinos is that the online casinos appeal to a person's greed, it is safe to say that most people travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, in search of the true Las Vegas experience. Altogether, though, it is ultimately up to the individual to decide which experience is better.

Free Las Vegas Experiences

If you're looking for things to do in Las Vegas then chances are that you have no further to look than the very hotel that you're staying at. Nevertheless, there are also some important activities to consider if you've come to Las Vegas to experience all the magic and mystery without digging to deep in your wallet.
Everyone always loves freebies and there are some important ones to check out whether you are in Las Vegas to stay or whether you've just checked in for the weekend:

The Mirage Hotel Tigers

More famously known for it's name and claim to luxury and charm, the Mirage Hotel also has one of the most interesting white tiger exhibits throughout the United States. Whatever your goal, chances are that you've at least heard of the tigers that can be seen as this hotel. In fact, though, these just aren't any tigers that are roaming throughout the hotel, but they're White Bengal Tigers that anyone can get a glimpse of whether staying at the hotel or not. Other than experiencing the White Bengals at the Mirage, though, there is also a bunch of other wildlife that can be experienced at this hotel. All it takes is one step in the front door and you'll soon realize what all the hype and majestic feeling is about that's associated with the Mirage.

Casino Hopping

Even though you don't have to dig deep into your wallet to play any of the Las Vegas slot machines, there is always fun to be had by going from casino to casino to experience the whole Las Vegas vacation. In addition many of these casinos are just right down the block from each other, which makes experiencing the whole gambling and poker scene a real possibility.

Neon Museum

Even though taking a trip to the museum isn't something that you probably thought about beforehand when planning your trip to Las Vegas, there is the all-famous Las Vegas Neon Museum that must be visited. The Neon Museum is a favorite attraction for a whole lot of people that has plenty of neon signs to enjoy. These neon signs, though, just aren't any old signs: they're truly relics of old hotels that housed plenty of other attractions with flashing bright neon signs to look and feast your eyes on. The Neon Museum is also part of the Fremont Street Experience, though, so it makes sense that everyone would visit it when they have the chance.

Whatever your goal when you come to Las Vegas, though, you are certainly not without opportunities to check out the amazing scenes of all the hotels and casinos that can be experienced. Of course, there is always the opportunity to be able to see "Mystere," which is now shown at the Treasure Island Hotel and Resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

Broadway Shows

Even though many people think that Broadway shows are reserved for the streets of Broadway in New York City, there has been much popularity with bringing them to the streets of Las Vegas. In fact, one popular show that is currently being shown in Las Vegas is titled "Mamma Mia!" This show combines some of the best hits from the '70s era, but also is an awesome show for anyone to see!

There are plenty of other shows to go to as well if you are looking for entertainment around the city. Whether its the ideas of the casino that you enjoy or you simply want to stay in one of the grand hotels for a week's vacation, there is literally everything to do while in Las Vegas. What's more, all of the stuff that there is to do seems to be on just a 4-mile stretch of land called the Las Vegas Strip. There is plenty to do and see all over the Las Vegas area, though, not just the casinos. But if you're visiting Las Vegas then chances are that you'll want a taste of what the Las Vegas life really feels like.

The City that Doesn't Sleep

Even though most of the time the phrase "The City that Never Sleeps" means that someone is referring to New York City, but imagine trying to sleep in a hotel or resort where lights are coming through your window, there are sound and light shows all over the place, and tourists and people of all ages are touring the streets at all hours of the night. Indeed, Las Vegas seems to be the place and city that never sleeps because there are actually some lights that stay on for twenty-four hours a day. In addition, with twenty-four hour restaurants and casinos that can be enjoyed the whole night long, who has any need for anything else during their stay in Las Vegas?

We Believe in Magic!

Another phrase that is usually not called upon when speaking about Las Vegas, "We Believe in Magic" is typically referenced when speaking about something to do with Walt Disney World. On the other hand, Las Vegas has everything to do with magic, though. From the casinos that can be experienced through all hours of the day to the beautiful Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden, there are all sorts of things to do that would convey the message that Las Vegas is a magical city. In addition, romantic couples are always taking long riverboat rides enjoying the company of themselves along with the Las Vegas lights and attractions!

Eating at the Best Places

Another benefit, though, to living in the Las Vegas Strip, is the fact that you have access to virtually all the different kinds of restaurants that you could possibly enjoy. For starters, there are plenty of high-class restaurants located in the hotels and world-famous resorts throughout Las Vegas. But there are also smaller restaurants that can be found throughout most of Las Vegas, especially in the Neon Strip Mall!
